The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for individuals with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. The course teaches participants how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Optional modules include child and infant CPR and AED use, as well as relief of choking in adults, children, and infants. Upon successful completion, students receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card, valid for two years.
It is a requirement of the AHA to have the latest edition of the Heartsaver workbook for preliminary study and as a valuable resource during and after class. You may obtain the hardcopy manual upon checkout. If you are needing First Aid, please see our Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid classes.
